Hi! I'm Charlotte Davies and I've been dancing for over 20 years and I just can't get enough. I started dancing in the West Midlands and competed for many years, earning recognition on the dance circuit as part of an amazing dance school; Morhellen. I want to recreate those fond memories I have and help students discover their passion for dance. I want my school to be apart of the local community and provide a safe, fun and creative experience for everyone to enjoy.
While at University I had an amazing opportunity to study Dance in America for a semester. It opened my mind to many other ways that choreographers create pieces, and incorporate them into their classes. I found a number of ideas very beneficial as it widened my dance vocabulary and grow as a dancer. I will implement these ideas into my classes as I believed they improved my dance experience and will improve my students learning venture too.
I have graduated from the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David with a First Class Honours in Dance. I hope to educate as well as inspire students to fulfil their dance venture within the arts.
I will use techniques and ideas I have mastered over my University degree and implement a challenging environment to encourage students to think outside the box.
I hope you chose to join my school and see it grow to its full desired potential. Future schemes will see the school take part in annual shows, compete in competitions and take part in nationally recognized examinations.
