Infusing technique and ideas from past and present, this class will allow you to discover your own style and flare. Taking inspiration from past greats such as Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Gene Kelly we aim to implement a modern take by adding and creating new fun and exciting elements. This will be an introductory class and will introduce the basic technique and steps to help improve the dancers core strength, co-ordination, grace and discipline. This fun and exciting class will take a look at today's pop culture and aim to create pieces inspired my music legends. Different levels of steps and phrases will be used to cater to each dancer ability. Students will have a chance to freestyle and develop their skills in a safe and fun. Will focus on learning dance technique such as isolation's of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns.  will focus on alignment, co-ordination, use of weight, and musicality to encourage freedom of movement. Improvisation will be used to express every dancers process, ideas and final thoughts. British Choreographers such as Akram Khan have increased the understanding and enjoyment of contemporary dance by adapting thier pieces to every day life to world wide events.
